London:Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of Oman, met with Ed Miliband, the United Kingdom's Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, during a state visit by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the UK.
According to Oman News Agency, the meeting focused on the strategic dimension of Omani-British relations, emphasizing the historical legacy and mutual interests that underpin them. The ministers discussed ways to enhance the existing partnership and expand its scope to align with the aspirations of both nations.
The dialogue also covered regional changes, with both parties highlighting the importance of maintaining constructive dialogue and intensifying diplomatic efforts. They emphasized these actions as vital for fostering understanding, addressing challenges, and reinforcing security and stability.
