HM The Sultan Awards Oman Military Order to Saudi Air Force Commander

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik conferred the Military Order of Oman (Second Class) upon HRH Lt. Gen Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force. This honour, bestowed by His Majesty, is in recognition of His Royal Highness's efforts and contributions to strengthening the bonds of military cooperation between the two countries.

According to Oman News Agency, the order was presented by HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs, when he received the Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force in his office at Al Murtafa'a Camp.

The ceremony was attended by Air Vice Marshal Khamis bin Hammad Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO). It was also attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Sultanate of Oman and the Military Attach© of Saudi Arabia's embassy in Muscat.
