Muscat: HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, received G©rard Mestrallet, Special Envoy of President Emmanuel Macron of the French Republic. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and areas of cooperation in various fields.
According to Oman News Agency, the meeting also discussed ways to enhance economic cooperation between the two countries, particularly in logistics. The discussions highlighted opportunities to develop trade exchange and enhance the role of Omani ports in supporting the smooth flow of maritime corridors and international trade. Additionally, the meeting aimed at ensuring the integration of supply chains between Asia and Europe.
The meeting was attended by Eng. Said Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, and several officials from both sides, reflecting the significance of the discussions in terms of potential economic collaboration and strategic partnerships.
