Oman Engages in Groundbreaking Council Meeting to Combat Child Violence

Geneva: The Sultanate of Oman participated today in the first official meeting of the Council of Champions to End Violence Against Children, convened alongside the Seventy-Ninth Session of the World Health Assembly in Geneva. Leading the Omani delegation was Dr. Hilal Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health and member of the Leadership Council.

According to Oman News Agency, the meeting marked a significant milestone as the inaugural gathering of the Council's members, featuring a select group of ministers, senior officials, and prominent international figures. The high-level dialogue aimed to address pressing health and developmental issues, focusing on advancing children's health and well-being and combating violence against children.
