Muscat: A 5-day artificial intelligence (AI) leadership programme kicked off today in the Wilayat of Salalah, Governorate of Dhofar. The programme is organized by Oman Investment Authority's group ITCHA, in partnership with the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology and the Governorate of Dhofar.
According to Oman News Agency, the programme, held under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed bin Mohsen Al Ghassani, Chairman of Dhofar Municipality, targets decision-makers, digital transition operators, IT teams, data specialists, and engineers. The initiative aims to equip participants with practical skills and professional guidance, enabling them to lead innovation and promote sustainable development within organizations.
The programme seeks to enhance the readiness of establishments to adopt artificial intelligence, address transformation gaps, and formulate leadership visions that support the use of modern technologies in developing institutional performance. ITCHA Group has developed an approach to contribute to economic diversification and sustainable growth in the Sultanate of Oman through investment in the sector of information and communications technology, while also focusing on consolidating strategic partnerships and nurturing national talent.
