Muscat: The Maritime Security Centre (MSC) reported that the competent authorities responded to a distress call issued by the commercial vessel "GFS GALAXY," which flies the flag of the Republic of Cyprus, following an accident 4.4 nautical miles off the coast of Musandam Governorate.
According to Oman News Agency, the Centre indicated that 23 crew members of the ship were rescued and provided with the necessary healthcare, while specialized teams continue search operations for one crew member who remains missing.
