Amman: Omani contestants Abdullah Al Rawahi and Zakariya Al Amri will participate in the Jordan International Rally, the third round of the Middle East Rally Championship, which is scheduled to take place from 14-16 May.
According to Oman News Agency, the rally features the participation of approximately 17 cars, with competitors representing 10 different countries. Contestant Abdullah Al Rawahi expressed his views on the upcoming event, stating, "The Jordan Rally represents an important milestone for us. This year, with the new car, I aim to secure the title following my return from injury. I possess a good knowledge of the rally stages, and we hope to deliver a strong performance."
For his part, contestant Zakariya Al Amri highlighted the significance of the event, stating, "The Jordan Rally is an important school for all racers. We strive to achieve victory in our category to boost our points in the championship, especially after finishing the previous round in Qatar in second place within the category."
