Muscat: Sheikh Abdulmalik Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, today received Ahmed Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives in the Kingdom of Bahrain, along with his delegation. The meeting was part of the Bahraini Speaker's official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
According to Oman News Agency, the Chairman of the State Council highlighted the strong and deep fraternal relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Bahrain. He noted that these ties are rooted in a long history of close cooperation and mutual understanding between the leaderships of both countries.
He emphasized that Omani-Bahraini relations stand as a distinguished model, marked by continuous coordination and integration, especially in legislative matters, which serve the common interests of both peoples.
Ahmed Salman Al Musallam, the Bahraini Speaker, reaffirmed the depth of the legislative relations between the two Councils. He underscored the significance of further developing these relations through enhanced joint legislative cooperation and coordination, aligning stances and visions in regional and international forums, and exchanging visits and expertise.
