Oman Engages in UN Expert Meeting on Geospatial Information Management in Tunisia

Tunis: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the National Survey and Geospatial Information Authority at the Ministry of Defence, participated in the thirteenth meeting of the Arab Committee of United Nations Experts on Geospatial Information Management, held in Tunisia.

According to Oman News Agency, the Authority's participation is rooted in its role as the national entity responsible for regulating, managing, and developing the geospatial information sector. The Authority also supports regional and international efforts to enhance the use of geospatial information, which contributes to achieving sustainable development and making decisions based on accurate data.

Oman's delegation in the meeting was headed by Commodore Nasser Ali Al Harthy, Chairman of the National Survey and Geospatial Information Authority.
