Sur: The 'Tasaeud' (Rising) program was launched today in the Wilayat of Sur, South A'Sharqiyah Governorate, with the aim of supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and enabling them to transition into more advanced stages of growth and sustainability.
According to Oman News Agency, the program involves 35 entrepreneurs who own small and medium enterprises and is organized by OQ Gas Networks (OQGN) in cooperation with the Office of the Governor of South A'Sharqiyah. This initiative is designed to enhance integration between the public and private sectors while linking SMEs to available opportunities that support their expansion and long-term viability.
The "Tasaeud" program provides a comprehensive practical platform focused on improving the performance of participating institutions and enhancing their readiness for expansion. This is achieved through specialized development tracks that include strategy, financial management, value building, governance, and decision-making, all under the supervision of a group of experts and specialists.
What distinguishes the program is its applied methodology, which stems from the specific reality of each individual enterprise. Rather than offering theoretical solutions or general models, the program works side-by-side with business owners to design realistic, implementing growth paths based on actual market needs.
Eng. Faisal Ali Al Maamari, Chief Human Resources, Technology and Culture Officer at OQ Gas Networks, stated that the 'Tasaeud' program provides practical tools and realistic development opportunities that help entrepreneurs achieve growth, enhance their competitiveness, and build long-term partnerships. He added that the program confirms OQ Gas Networks' commitment to enabling SMEs to achieve sustainable growth and competitiveness, aligning with the objectives of economic development and Oman Vision 2040.
