Brussels: Within the framework of friendly relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Belgium, the two sides signed a joint Declaration of Intent in Brussels today. The move comes in pursuance of a common desire to boost ties and expand bilateral cooperation.
According to Oman News Agency, the Declaration of Intent seeks to facilitate the entry of holders of Diplomatic, Special and Official Passports between the two countries without a visa for specific periods. It also aims to enhance cooperation in the fields of immigration and immigration management, in accordance with international laws.
The Declaration of Intent was signed on behalf of Oman by Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister. On the Belgian side, it was signed by Bernard Quintin, Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs, Foreign Trade and the Federal Cultural Institutions.
