HM The Sultan and Belgian Prime Minister Discuss Investment Cooperation.


Brussels: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and Alexander De Croo, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium, held an official session of talks at the Belgian Prime Minister’s Office (Le Lambermont) today. The session focused on investment and economic cooperation, exploring ways to enhance these areas for mutual benefit, along with discussions on international developments, global changes, and investment opportunities across various sectors.

According to Oman News Agency, the meeting was attended by key figures from both nations. Representing Oman were HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, Abdussalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority, Eng. Salim bin Nassir Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Mi
nerals, and Rua Issa Al Zadjali, Ambassador of Oman to Belgium.

The Belgian delegation included Tinne Van der Straeten, Minister of Energy, Pascal H. Grégoire, Ambassador of Belgium to Oman, Theodora Gentzis, President of the Board of the Belgian Federal Public Service of Foreign Affairs, Tom Neijens, Diplomatic Advisor to the Prime Minister, Francis Corneille, Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Geert Muylle, Ambassador and Special Envoy for Energy Security and Critical Raw Materials at the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
