Muscat: The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) is set to launch an interactive data management application named 'Artaj' this Wednesday, 24 June 2026. The launch event will be hosted in Muscat and marks a significant step towards establishing a central data repository for the State's Administrative Apparatus.
According to Oman News Agency, the 'Artaj' initiative is part of NCSI's ongoing efforts to strengthen the national data system and promote a culture of statistics in Oman. The new application will leverage modern technologies to support development and evidence-based decision-making, aligning with the objectives outlined in Oman Vision 2040.
Additionally, the 'Artaj' application aims to offer an interactive educational experience designed to enhance statistical awareness among school children. Key features of the project include the professional exchange of reports, publications, studies, and government projects, along with the dissemination of survey results and public opinion polls.
