Muscat:The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed at 7,728.06 points, marking a decrease of 75.9 points, or 0.97 percent, compared to the previous trading session, which recorded 7,803.93 points.
According to Oman News Agency, the trading value amounted to RO 48,712,293, showing a decline of 34.5 percent from the previous session's RO 74,417,272. Market capitalization also fell by 0.547 percent from the prior day, reaching approximately RO 39.63 billion.
The value of non-Omani purchases on the exchange was RO 11,495,000, accounting for 23.60 percent, while non-Omani sales totaled RO 9,360,000, or 19.21 percent. Consequently, net non-Omani investment decreased by RO 2,135,000, representing a 4.38 percent drop.
