Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange "MSX 30" index today closed at 7,568.85 points, down 12.7 points, or 0.168 percent, from the previous session's close of 7,581.56 points.
According to Oman News Agency, the trading value stood at RO 30,099,615, a drop of 34.3 percent from RO 45,807,747 recorded in the last session. This decline was reflected in the market capitalization, which decreased by 0.166 percent from the previous trading day to approximately RO 37.88 billion.
Non-Omani investors recorded purchases worth RO 3.549 million, accounting for 11.79 percent of the total trading value. Meanwhile, their sales reached RO 3.363 million, or 11.17 percent. As a result, net non-Omani investment increased by RO 186 thousand, or 0.62 percent.
