Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange "MSX 30" index closed today at 7,117.20 points, marking an upturn of 5.8 points, or 0.08 percent, from the previous session's close of 7,111.42 points.
According to Oman News Agency, the trading value reached RO 60,109,653, which signifies a significant increase of 47 percent compared to RO 40,895,909 recorded in the last session. Market capitalization also saw an uptick of 0.119 percent from the previous trading day, reaching approximately RO 37.17 billion.
Non-Omani investors were active, with purchases amounting to RO 9.192 million, making up 15.29 percent of the total trading value. However, their sales totaled RO 10.381 million or 17.27 percent of the trading value, resulting in a net decrease in non-Omani investment by RO 1.190 million, or 1.98 percent.
