Accra:Maj. Gen Abdullah Ali Al Harthy, the Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Operations, welcomed Colonel Mosa'ad Ahmed Al Shamroukh from Kuwait's Ministry of Defense and his accompanying delegation, who are currently visiting Oman.
According to Oman News Agency, the meeting focused on reviewing aspects of joint cooperation and discussing ways to enhance the exchange of expertise in security, emergency management, and multi-hazard risk reduction.
The Kuwaiti delegation also visited the National Center for Emergency Management and several sectors of the National Committee for Emergency Management. They were briefed on the Centre's working mechanisms, the integration of roles among various sectors, and preparedness for climate developments, along with the Centre's experiences in managing exceptional weather conditions over recent years.
