Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik gave an audience at Al Barakah Palace today to Saad Sherida Al Kaabi, Minister of State for Energy Affairs in the State of Qatar.
According to Oman News Agency, the guest conveyed greetings from Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, to His Majesty the Sultan, expressing his best wishes for good health and well-being. Sheikh Tamim also extended his wishes for further progress and prosperity for the Omani people in various spheres.
During the meeting, His Majesty reciprocated by asking the minister to convey his greetings and best wishes for good health and success to Sheikh Tamim.
The audience focused on reviewing areas of cooperation and partnership in the energy sectors between the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Qatar, aiming to serve the joint interests and meet the aspirations of the peoples of the two countries.
The audience was attended by Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority, and Eng. Salim bin Nassir Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals.
