Muscat:Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, engaged in a phone conversation with Bakhtiyor Saidov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
According to Oman News Agency, the ministers discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and partnership, focusing particularly on economic, trade, and tourism sectors. They also talked about advancing investment projects and improving logistics and transportation services to transform opportunities into mutually beneficial projects for both nations.
The conversation also covered regional and international developments, with both parties stressing the significance of enhancing areas of consensus, reinforcing joint efforts, and supporting peaceful solutions to disputes in line with international law principles.
In a separate call, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi discussed cooperation relations with Sergey Lavrov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. They exchanged views regarding current regional and international developments.
