Cairo: Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance, was honoured with the ‘Arab Government Excellence Award’, receiving the title of ‘Best Arab Minister’ in the Award’s 4th edition in 2025. This accolade was announced during a ceremony at the Arab League’s headquarters.
According to Oman News Agency, Al Habsi expressed that the honour reflects the progress achieved by the government work system in the Sultanate of Oman under His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik’s leadership. Al Habsi emphasized that this recognition is not just a personal achievement but rather a testament to the collaborative institutional efforts characterized by teamwork, efficiency, transparency, and quality service delivery.
Al Habsi further noted that this accomplishment brings with it a heightened responsibility to uphold the current standards, while also encouraging further efforts to promote a culture of excellence. It also aims to boost cooperation with Arab countries, contributing to the development of a more innovative future in government operations.
