Muscat: The Maritime Security Center received a report confirming that the commercial vessel MAYUREE NAREE, flagged to the Kingdom of Thailand, was attacked approximately 13 nautical miles off the coast of the Sultanate of Oman. The attack ignited a fire within the main engine room.
According to Oman News Agency, a vessel from the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) successfully evacuated 20 crew members, all of Thai nationality, who sustained injuries of varying severity.
