Emperor of Japan Welcomes Omani Minister at Imperial Palace

Tokyo: Emperor Naruhito of Japan received HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo today. The visit is part of HH Sayyid Theyazin’s current trip to Japan.

According to Oman News Agency, during the meeting, HH Sayyid Theyazin conveyed greetings from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to Emperor Naruhito, along with wishes for the Emperor’s good health and happiness. His Majesty also expressed hopes for continued progress and prosperity for the Japanese people.

Emperor Naruhito reciprocated by asking HH Sayyid Theyazin to convey his greetings and best wishes for health and wellbeing to His Majesty the Sultan. The Emperor also expressed hopes for further development and growth for the Omani people.

The discussion also included a review of the historical and advanced relations between Oman and Japan. Both leaders explored various areas of cooperation and partnership, discussing ways to enhance these ties in order to serve their shared interests.
