Caretaker Foreign Minister, Abdallah Bou Habib, on Tuesday continued his diplomatic meetings aimed at preventing escalation in the region. Within this framework, he met today with the ambassadors of the states participating in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). "The meeting touched on the situation in south Lebanon and Gaza," Bou Habib told the National News Agency. "I called on everybody to help calm the situation on the southern border, and to (push) Israel to stop the shelling, especially that the retaliation from Lebanon is (hitting) the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms," he said.
