Muscat: The Applied Analysis Unit at Sultan Qaboos University's College of Science has been awarded the ISO international accreditation for its testing laboratory services. This certification was granted by the GCC Accreditation Centre (GAC).
According to Oman News Agency, the unit provides essential services for applied and biological analyses, supporting research and offering advanced analytical services. This contributes significantly to development and innovation at the university and in wider contexts. The unit is focused on developing laboratory technologies and enhancing the skills of its technical staff to provide reliable services that meet the needs of researchers and other stakeholders.
The Applied Analysis Unit has recently acquired 15 specialized instruments and auxiliary equipment, with investments exceeding RO 2 million.
