A'dakhiliyah: The branch of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) in A'Dakhiliyah Governorate today organized a specialized business training workshop that was attended by owners of projects, operators of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and representatives of government departments and private sector establishments.
According to Oman News Agency, the workshop was run by Saud bin Nasser Al Busaidi, a lecturer in the discipline of communications and public relations at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS). It outlined the latest concepts and strategies used in identifying and analyzing risks. The workshop elaborated on ways to deal with risks in a manner that contributes to enhancing the sustainability of economic establishments and augmenting their readiness to face various challenges.
The workshop aimed to raise public awareness about the importance of anticipating risks that might impede economic growth. It highlighted mechanisms for converting challenges into opportunities through sound planning and effective management. It underscored the view that risk management is a fundamental pillar for supporting strategic decision-making, ensuring business sustainability, and enhancing competitiveness.
The workshop was in pursuance of efforts made by the OCCI branch in A'Dakhiliyah Governorate to provide technical training and support to the private sector in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
