Weather Forecast for Monday

The National Center for Meteorology forecasts moderate to heavy thunderstorms, accompanied by gusty winds and hail showers leading to torrential rains in parts of the Jazan, Aseer and Al-Baha regions, extending to the southern parts of Makkah region.

Fog may form over parts of the highlands of these areas; dust-stirring winds will blow in parts of the Northern Borders, Eastern, Riyadh and Madinah regions, and reach the southern coast road to Jazan as well as parts of the Najran region. Temperatures remain high in parts of the Eastern region.

Winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to southwesterly, reaching 10-30 km/h in the northern, central and western parts, and 20-45 km/h in the southern part, where thunderclouds will form.

Waves may reach from half a meter to one meter over the northern and central parts, and up to two meters in the southern part, where thunderclouds will form.

The sea will be calm to relatively choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly, reaching 15-35 km/h. Wave
s will range from half a meter to a meter, and the sea will be calm.
