In its weather report for today, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) forecasted that the effect of active dust-stirring winds would continue, limiting horizontal visibility over the Eastern Region and parts of the Madinah and Makkah regions, as well as along the coastal road leading to Jazan. Rainy thunderstorm clouds accompanied by active winds will be formed in parts of the regions of Najran, Jizan, and Asir.
NCM report indicated that the movement of surface winds in the Red Sea is westerly to northwesterly at a speed of 14-40 km/h, reaching a speed of 50 km/h.
The movement of surface winds in the Arabian Gulf is northwesterly to westerly at a speed of 10-28 km/h on the southern part. Its speed on the northern and central part reaches 36 km/h, the report concluded.
