According to Oman News Agency, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei mentioned on Monday that Tehran and Washington are exchanging messages in an atmosphere of extreme caution. This development follows a significant announcement from Iran and Israel, who have agreed to halt mutual attacks. This decision comes after their first direct exchanges since a ceasefire in the Middle East war was declared two months ago.
In recent incidents, both Israel and Iran targeted each other, escalating tensions. Israel struck a petrochemical complex in southwestern Iran, and Iran, as per its officials, responded with a strike on a similar Israeli facility in the city of Haifa.
