Hanoi:A delegation from the United States House of Representatives, along with the Ambassador of the United States to Oman, visited the Maritime Security Centre (MSC). They were welcomed by Commodore Abdullah bin Ali Al Hajri, the head of the MSC.
According to Oman News Agency, The delegation received a briefing on the competences of the Maritime Security Centre, highlighting its national roles and tasks related to monitoring maritime conditions and improving responses to incidents and emergencies. This coordination with relevant authorities aims to ensure the security and safety of maritime navigation.
During the visit, the delegation toured the Centre's facilities and was informed about the equipment, technologies, and systems in place. These resources enhance the Centre's operational capabilities and improve its readiness and efficiency in performing its assigned tasks and responsibilities.
