Undersecretary of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for Hajj Affairs Inspects the Preparedness of the Tiwafa Company for Pilgrims from Southeast Asian Countries

Makkah, The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for Hajj Affairs, Dr. Ayed Al-Ghuwaynem, accompanied by a number of ministry officials, conducted an inspection tour of the headquarters of the Tiwafa (circumambulation) Company for Pilgrims of Southeast Asian Countries ‘Mashareq’ in Makkah to assess its preparations for the Hajj season 1445 H.

During the visit, Al-Ghuwaynem received a visual presentation on the company’s performance, its staff, residential buildings, and camps under its supervision. The delegation also reviewed the statistical coverage of contracts concluded so far, the distribution of the Nusuk card, and the company’s readiness to receive pilgrims in the holy sites of Arafa, Muzdalifah, and Mina. The delegation was also briefed on the challenges facing Hajj companies.

Following the visit, Al-Ghuwaynem expressed satisfaction with the company’s performance, which was expected to receive more than 500,000 pilgrims during the first three weeks of the month of Dhul-Qi’dah. He particu
larly commended the company’s efforts in accommodating and transporting pilgrims in the city of Madinah and other holy sites, noting that the ‘Nusuk’ card is now recognized by all government agencies as an official identity for pilgrims.

In response, the Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors, Adnan bin Hussein Mandoura, affirmed that the company is committed to utilizing all mechanical, human, and technical resources to provide pilgrims with comfort and tranquility, enabling them to fulfill the Hajj obligation in an atmosphere of faith.
