Amman: UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories Francesca Albanese reiterated that the Israeli occupation forces are committing genocide in the Gaza Strip. Albanese said in press statements in Geneva that Israel is seeking to make Gaza City “unlivable” by attacking the largest urban area in the Strip.
According to Oman News Agency, Albanese stated that Israel is employing unconventional weapons to forcibly evacuate Palestinians who were seeking refuge in Gaza City. She emphasized that this area represents the last part of Gaza that remains to be rendered uninhabitable by the ongoing military actions.
