Twelve Militants Killed in Two Security Operations in Pakistan

Muscat: The Pakistani military has announced the killing of 12 militants in two separate security operations conducted in the Waziristan region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and the Nushki area of Balochistan province.

According to Oman News Agency, the Inter-Services Public Relations, the media wing of the Pakistani armed forces, stated in a release today that the first operation was carried out in the Razmak area of North Waziristan, resulting in the deaths of five militants. One security personnel was also killed, and quantities of weapons and ammunition were seized.

The statement added that the second operation was conducted in the Nushki area of Balochistan province, resulting in the deaths of seven militants. Security forces also destroyed improvised explosive devices and ammunition found at the site of the operation.

The Pakistani military, according to the statement, affirmed that its security operations against militant groups are ongoing, emphasizing its continued efforts to strengthen security and stability in the border regions.
