Transport Minister Al Maawali Engages in Strategic Talks with Bahraini, Iraqi, and Algerian Counterparts

Salalah: Eng. Said Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, conducted separate meetings today in the Wilayat of Salalah with Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications; Razzaq Muhaibas Al Saadawi, Iraq’s Minister of Transport; and Said Saioud, Algeria’s Minister of Transport.

According to Oman News Agency, the discussions were centered around several key topics of mutual interest. A significant focus was placed on the development of transport and logistics infrastructure, which is crucial for facilitating economic growth and regional connectivity. The talks also emphasized strengthening integration between ports and airports, an initiative aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the transport sectors in the respective countries.
