Muscat: The 3rd edition of the Research Forum in Vocational Colleges, titled 'Scholarly Research: From Challenge to Empowerment', kicked off today at the Vocational College in the Wilayat of Saham in North Al Batinah Governorate: The forum brings together academics, researchers and practitioners from vocational colleges in the Sultanate of Oman.
According to Oman News Agency, the first day of the forum included research papers and studies that address challenges and difficulties facing researchers. The presentations outlined the systematic treatment that research requires and the use of artificial intelligence tools in scholarly research. It also explored the outcome of successful research experiences that covered the areas of agricultural technologies, energy engineering electronics and artificial intelligence.
The forum included a panel discussion about three main themes: Academic and organizational challenges facing researchers; Empowering research in vocational colleges; Role of partnerships and funding in enhancing professional research.
