Muscat: The activities of the Summer Program for Innovation and Artificial Intelligence in North Al Batinah Governorate commenced today at the Liwa Science and Innovation Center.
According to Oman News Agency, the event is organized by the Directorate General of Education in North Al Batinah Governorate, as part of the "Our Summer is Entrepreneurship and Creativity" summer centers, in cooperation with the Office of the Governor of North Al Batinah. The program features the participation of approximately 125 male and female students and will continue until the second of next July.
Dr. Khalid Mohammed Al Saadi, Head of the Innovation and Scientific Olympiad Department at the Directorate General of Education in North Al Batinah, explained that the program is designed to enhance students' skills in the fields related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This is achieved by offering a diverse range of applied training workshops that combine programming, educational robotics, drones, 3D design, and scientific research.
He added that the program emphasizes learning by doing, which contributes to developing creativity and innovation, enhancing scientific thinking and problem-solving skills, and preparing students for participation in scientific and technological competitions and programs. Dr. Al Saadi pointed out that the program provides a stimulating and safe educational environment that allows students to acquire technical skills in a practical manner.
