Speaker Receives Bahrain Medical Society.


Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, received Dr. Amer Ibrahim Al Derazi, President of the Bahrain Medical Society, along with the board members. The meeting was also attended by Abdulnabi Salman Ahmed, First Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives, and MP Dr. Mahdi Abdulaziz Al Shuwaikh.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the speaker was briefed about the society’s activities and programmes, which emphasize its commitment to supporting employment for Bahraini medical graduates in collaboration with public and private health institutions. Al Musallam praised Bahrain’s healthcare advancements and the nation’s esteemed reputation in the field, attributing these achievements to the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the proactive involvement of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

During the meeting, the Speaker extended his congratulations to Bahraini doctors on Bahraini Doctor’s Da
y and acknowledged the vital efforts of the Supreme Council of Health, the Ministry of Health, and all healthcare institutions in the country. He affirmed the parliamentary support for Bahraini doctors and healthcare workers, commending their dedication and contributions to the nation’s healthcare system.

Al Musallam further emphasized the council’s dedication to advancing medical achievements through legislative measures and reiterated continued support for the Bahrain Medical Society. He highlighted the importance of empowering Bahraini doctors and enhancing their service to citizens and residents.
