Tangier: Royal Navy of Oman (RNO)’s vessel ‘Shabab Oman II’ today left the Port of Tangier in the Kingdom of Morocco, en route to the Port of Almera in the Kingdom of Spain, as part of its 7th international voyage named (Glories of the Seas 2025).
According to Oman News Agency, this voyage marks another step in the itinerary of Shabab Oman II, which aims to foster international cooperation and cultural exchange. The vessel is expected to make several stops throughout its journey, promoting Omani heritage and maritime traditions.
The Shabab Oman II is renowned for its participation in international tall ship races and cultural festivals. The current journey, Glories of the Seas 2025, is designed to enhance the visibility of Oman’s maritime history and to strengthen ties with countries it visits. The ship’s crew is set to engage in multiple diplomatic and cultural activities upon reaching Spain.
