The southern Lebanese towns of Bent Jbeil, Yaroun, Maroun al-Ras, Aitaroun, Blida, the outskirts of Muhaibib, Kounine, and Haddatha have been subjected to heavy artillery shelling from Israeli positions situated in the occupied Palestinian territories.
