Muscat: Oman Real Estate Association today held a press conference during which it announced the launch of the second edition of 'Oman Real Estate Awards' contest.
According to Oman News Agency, the Association pointed out the contest seeks to consolidate the concept of excellence based on actual performance and sustainable impact, notably through the adoption of a clear-cut evaluation criteria that focuses on project quality, innovation, and sustainability.
The announcement of 'Oman Real Estate Awards' takes place at a time the Sultanate of Oman is witnessing rapid urban growth and remarkable development in major real estate projects.
Hassan bin Khamis Al Ruqaishi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Real Estate Association, said in a statement that the launch of the second edition of 'Oman Real Estate Awards' stems from a keenness to enhance competitiveness in the real estate sector and establish standards of excellence and innovation among stakeholders operating in the market.
He explained that the contest aims to felicitate outstanding projects and companies, promote innovation, support real estate investment, and highlight the best practices in the fields of project development, design, and implementation.
Al Ruqaishi added that the award targets real estate development companies, offices of engineering and architecture, real estate brokerage companies, and financing firms related to the sector.
The organizing committee dedicated a website for the contest to enable interested parties to subscribe to the award from now until 20 June 2026.
