Diriyah Art Futures (DAF), a leading New Media Arts center in Saudi Arabia, has disclosed the names of the 12 successful applicants selected to participate in its inaugural Emerging New Media Artists Program.
As per a press release from DAF, the program, set to begin later this year, will feature a group of talented individuals from various creative fields and backgrounds, preponderantly from Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region.
Running for one year, the program offers access to cutting-edge professional equipment and facilities, a production budget, learning experiences with international experts in New Media Art, and personal mentorships of renowned international digital artists.
Designed in collaboration with Le Fresnoy – Studio National des Arts Contemporains in France, the program is part of a broader partnership between the Ministry of Culture and Diriyah Company, aimed at facilitating creativity in the realms of art, technology and academia.
