The land patrols of the Border Guards in Haql, located in the Tabuk Region, successfully foiled an attempt to smuggle 14,000 amphetamine tablets using a drone.
The confiscated tablets have been handed over to the relevant authorities as part of the ongoing efforts to combat drug smuggling and trafficking in the Kingdom. This operation is a testament to the continuous anti-drug security campaign conducted by the Kingdom through land and sea, aimed at apprehending smugglers and traffickers.
Security authorities urge all citizens and residents across the Kingdom to promptly report any information related to drug smuggling and trafficking. In case of any suspicious activities, individuals can contact the authorities by dialling 911 from Makkah, Riyadh, or the Eastern Region, or 999 from other regions in the country.
Additionally, informants can reach out to the General Directorate of Narcotics Control by calling 995 or sending an email to [email protected]. It is worth noting that all reports received will be handled with the utmost confidentiality.
