Muscat: General Sultan Mohammed Al Nu'amani, Minister of the Royal Office, received Lt. General Ahmed Fathy Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces, in his office today. The meeting underscored the strength of bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
According to Oman News Agency, Al Nu'amani highlighted the depth of the ties between the two nations. Lt. General Khalifa expressed appreciation for Oman's positions on various regional and international matters, acknowledging its role in fostering dialogue and understanding. The meeting included cordial exchanges, a review of joint cooperation areas, and discussions on several pertinent issues.
The meeting was also attended by the Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces, further emphasizing the importance of military collaboration between the two countries.
