Royal Decree Amends Provisions of Official Gazette Law

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued Royal Decree No. 86/2025, which amends certain provisions of the Official Gazette Law. These changes are detailed in the decree and are set to update the legislation originally promulgated by Royal Decree No. 84/2011.

According to Oman News Agency, the amendments outlined in Article 1 of the decree will be applied to the existing Official Gazette Law. In addition, Article 2 of the decree cancels any provisions that contradict or contravene the newly attached amendments.

Article 3 of the decree specifies that it will be published in the Official Gazette and will become effective on the day following its publication date.
