ROP Launches Program on Strategic Leadership for Digital Transformation

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) today launched the "Strategic Leadership for Digital Transformation" program at the Officers' Institute of the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences.

According to Oman News Agency, the program's opening ceremony was held under the auspices of General Sultan Mohammed Al Nu'amani, Minister of the Royal Office and Head of the Office of the Supreme Commander. The event was attended by Lt. General Hassan Mohsin Al Shuraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs, along with several senior officers.

The program, organized by the Royal Oman Police in collaboration with leading international expertise houses, signifies the commitment of the General Command of Police to foster advanced leadership capabilities in digital transformation. It aims to leverage the latest technological advancements to enhance the security work system and improve readiness to adapt to rapid changes and future requirements. The program is designed to enable participants to utilize modern technologies and smart data for informed security decision-making, while also developing skills in change management, innovation, and foresight to boost institutional efficiency.

Additionally, the Strategic Leadership for Digital Transformation program seeks to strengthen the integration between security and technical aspects. It aims to enhance institutional capabilities to tackle digital challenges and meet cybersecurity needs, thereby contributing to the progression of sophisticated smart systems.
