Religious Affairs Presidency Calls on Worshippers on Night of Completing Quran Recitation to Cooperate with Security Authorities, Avoid Overcrowding, Respect Sanctity of Time and Place


Makkah: The Presidency for Religious Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques urged worshippers at the Two Holy Mosques, on the night of completing the Holy Quran recitation, to observe public order, respect the sanctity of the place and time, and honor the sanctity of the Two Holy Mosques. It also called for cooperation with security authorities and the sectors operating in the Two Holy Mosques, urging to avoid crowding and refraining from praying and sitting in the corridors.

The presidency emphasized the importance of following instructions, making the most of the remaining days of Ramadan, engaging in more worship, and minimizing distractions from mobile phones and photography. It extended wishes for everyone’s safety and abundant reward.

The presidency has prepared various high-quality religious programs during Ramadan, particularly during the last 10 days, to fulfill the message of the Two Holy Mosques effectively and to convey their message globally, while also serving their visitors and enriching their relig
ious experience.

The night of completing the Holy Quran recitation, which falls on the 29th day of Ramadan, is considered the last odd night in Ramadan when Laylat Al-Qadr (Night of Decree) is sought.
