Makkah: The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has activated the “Mubseroon” initiative to distribute Braille copies of the Quran during the final ten days of Ramadan at the Grand Mosque.
This initiative is part of the presidency’s plan to create a devotional atmosphere and enhance the religious experience of visually impaired individuals who have traveled to the Grand Mosque from various parts of the world during Ramadan.
The initiative’s objective is to assist these individuals in reciting the Holy Quran and provide them with the highest level of care and services.
In addition, the presidency has activated an electronic Quran device that enables visually impaired individuals to read, contemplate, and interpret the Quran in Braille effortlessly.
This device encourages active engagement with the Quran as it facilitates reading and contemplation through the dynamic display of Braille cells, aligning them with the verses, Arabic letters, and page numbers of the Qura
n.
The newly activated device is identical to the Mushaf of the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex. It is designed to enable easy and quick access to pages, chapters, and parts of the Mushaf. Thus, it provides the complete text of the Quran.
Throughout Ramadan, the presidency has remained committed to keeping pace with digital transformation, in line with the aspirations of the wise leadership.
The presidency has leveraged modern technology, digital applications, and artificial intelligence to enhance the religious services provided to visitors to the Two Holy Mosques during the blessed month.
In this regard, guidance robots have been activated to provide assistance and guidance to Umrah performers and visitors in understanding the rituals, offering instant translation in multiple languages.
