Amman: Air Vice Marshal Khamis Hammad Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), today honoured a number of outstanding officers at Al Murtafa’a Camp for achieving advanced international rankings in scientific and sports fields.
According to Oman News Agency, First Flying Officer Sabra Moosa Al Salti secured third place globally and was awarded the bronze medal for her participation in the Taekwondo Championship (CISM 2025), held in the Federal Republic of Germany. Her achievement highlights the dedication and skill demonstrated by Omani personnel in international sports competitions.
Flying Officer Haitham Abdullah Al Saidi achieved first place in the specialized Aviation Engineering course held at RAF Cosford in the United Kingdom, earning the prestigious Halahan Trophy. This accolade underscores the high standards of training and expertise among RAFO personnel, contributing to the force’s excellence in aviation engineering.
