Saudi Public Security, represented by the General Department of Traffic announced the start of the prevention of unauthorized vehicles from entering the holy sites from midnight on the Dhu al-Hijjah 05 until the end of Dhu al-Hijjah 13, for the year 1444 AH.
The Hajj Forces Command for Traffic Affairs confirmed that the penalty for those individuals operating vehicles without a regular Hajj permit, the penalty is a six-month prison sentence and a fine of up to SAR 5,0000 for each violation which multiplies the penalty as per the number of unauthorized vehicles that are illegally transported into the holy sites. The Hajj forces added that the competent authority would seize the violator's vehicles and deport any non-Saudi violator and prohibit them from entering the Kingdom according to the periods specified by the law
