Madrid: Florentino P©rez has won a new four-year term as Real Madrid president, securing 65 percent of the votes cast by club members in an election that saw 33,555 members participate.
According to Oman News Agency, official results confirmed P©rez's victory over rival Enrique Riquelme, who received 35 percent of the votes. Voting took place at the club's Valdebebas training ground near Madrid.
During his campaign, P©rez promised several high-profile signings, while his rival focused on strengthening members' roles and upgrading the club's facilities.
Real Madrid's revenue reached £1.19 billion for the 2024-2025 season, with the club's market value estimated at $6.75 billion by Forbes, keeping it the most valuable football club in the world.
