The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) demanded that the Israeli army be held accountable for its forces’ use of Palestinian prisoners as human shields in the Gaza Strip.
The ministry stressed that the use of Palestinian prisoners as human shields by Israeli forces in Gaza is appalling and unacceptable.
